How long has Padstow Food Service been in business?

Padstow Food Service has been family owned and operated since 1990. We have served Sydney businesses and the local community from the same Padstow location for more than 35 years.

Is Padstow Food Service open to the public?

Yes. Our Padstow Factory Outlet is open to the public. You do not need to own a business or have an ABN, and there are no joining or annual membership fees.

Do you sell to home customers or only businesses?

We welcome everyone, including home cooks, families, caterers, cafes, restaurants, schools, clubs, charities and other organisations. Products can be purchased online or from our Factory Outlet.

Is there a minimum order?

No. There is no minimum order amount for shopping online or at our Factory Outlet. Delivery fees and free-delivery thresholds may still apply, depending on your postcode and order value.

What products do you sell?

We stock a broad range of foodservice and catering products, including frozen foods, finger food, cakes and desserts, baking ingredients, fresh food, pantry products, cake decorating supplies, cleaning products, food packaging, tableware and hospitality supplies.

What brands do you stock?

We stock leading foodservice brands including Sara Lee, Bakels, Rich's, Queen Professional, Krio Krush, BioPak, Anchor, Caputo and many more.

Where is the Padstow Food Service Factory Outlet?

Our Factory Outlet is located at 2D Arab Road, Padstow NSW 2211. We are near McDonald's Padstow, around the corner from Bunnings, and approximately 600 metres from the Fairford Road exit of the M5 Motorway.

What are your opening hours?

Monday to Thursday: 7am-4pm. Friday: 7am-5pm. Saturday: 7am-1pm. Sunday: Closed. Public holidays: Closed.

Can I place an order for Click and Collect?

Yes. Select Click and Collect when placing your online order and allow approximately 1.5 hours for our team to prepare it. We will email you when your order is ready to collect from our Padstow Factory Outlet.

Can someone else collect my order?

Yes. A friend, courier, Uber driver or another nominated person may collect your order. Please tell us who will be collecting it in the order comments or contact our team before collection.

Does Padstow Food Service deliver?

Yes. We provide foodservice delivery throughout eligible Sydney metropolitan areas. Ambient, non-refrigerated products can also be sent to many locations across Australia using Australia Post or a courier.

How much does delivery cost?

Sydney delivery fees are based on your postcode, order value and the delivery option available for your address. Enter your delivery address during checkout to see the available options.

Do you offer free delivery?

Free delivery is available in many Sydney metropolitan areas when the applicable order-value threshold is reached. Thresholds vary according to location. Orders below the relevant threshold may still be delivered for a fee.

When will my Sydney order be delivered?

We service different Sydney metropolitan areas on scheduled delivery days. Your delivery day will depend on your postcode and when the order is placed.

Do you deliver frozen and refrigerated food?

Yes. We deliver frozen, chilled and refrigerated products throughout eligible Sydney metropolitan delivery areas using suitable foodservice transport.

Do you deliver frozen or refrigerated products outside Sydney?

Refrigerated delivery outside the Sydney metropolitan area is considered individually because suitable refrigerated freight can be expensive and may not be practical for smaller orders.

Do you ship products outside Sydney?

Yes. Many ambient, non-refrigerated products can be shipped throughout Australia using Australia Post or a courier. Frozen, chilled and other temperature-sensitive products may be restricted.

How is freight outside Sydney calculated?

Orders may need to be packed, weighed and measured before an accurate freight price can be confirmed. Where a shipping price is not available automatically at checkout, we will identify a suitable option and email you a quote before dispatch. You may accept and pay the quoted freight charge or decline it.

Can I arrange my own courier or freight?

Yes. You can arrange for your own courier, Uber driver or nominated person to collect your order from our Padstow warehouse. Please provide the relevant details when ordering and make sure the service is suitable for the products being collected.

Can butter be shipped interstate or to regional areas?

Butter may be shipped by courier or Australia Post during cooler months, but we do not recommend sending it this way during warmer weather. Where accepted for shipping, butter may be wrapped in thermal bubble insulation, however this does not provide refrigerated temperature control. Temperature-sensitive products travel at the customer's risk once they leave our warehouse.

Will I receive tracking information?

Tracking information is normally provided for orders sent by Australia Post or courier. Express shipping may be available for suitable products at an additional cost.

When is payment taken for an online order?

Your payment is generally pre-authorised when the order is placed and captured when the order is prepared for dispatch. If an external freight quote is required, we will contact you before proceeding.

Do you offer business credit accounts?

We do not generally open new credit accounts. Approved existing trade customers and certain eligible organisations may have access to separately arranged account terms. Most customers can order using the payment methods offered at checkout.

Is Padstow Food Service HACCP certified?

Yes. Padstow Food Service maintains HACCP food-safety certification and undergoes regular auditing.

Cooking Instructions

Cook or heat from frozen. Appliance temperatures can vary, so adjust cooking times if required.
Not suitable for microwave cooking.
Oven: Preheat oven to 200° C . Spread Chicken Chips on a lightly greased oven tray and cook for 10-12 minutes , turning once.
Deep fry: Preheat oil to 180° C . Place a small quantity of Chicken Chips in fryer basket and cook for approximately 2-2.5 minutes . Drain carefully onto paper towelling.
