Preparation

• Combine: using the serving quantities table as a guide, combine the gravy mix with half the water and stir until free from lumps.
• Stir: stir in the remaining water and bring to the boil, stirring constantly.
• Simmer: reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
• Serving quantities guide - Cold Water : Gravy Mix : Approx. Gravy Yield: 1L : 100g : 1L; 2L : 200g : 2L; 5L : 500g : 5L; 10L : 1kg : 10L; 15L : 1.5kg : 15L; 20L : Full Tub (2kg) : 20L.
• Once prepared, gravy can be held covered in a bain-marie for no more than 4 hours.
• Prepared gravy is freeze-thaw stable when thawed under 0-5°C chilled conditions.

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry place.
• After opening, store in a plastic container, refrigerate and use within 3 days.
• Shelf life: 12 months.
