Queen Glycerine is a food-grade vegetable glycerine sold in 200ml bottles by Padstow Food Service. Used by Bakers as a humectant to stop royal icing from setting too hard, it also adds a glossy shine to and helps keep fondant soft and stretchy, and prevents sugar from crystallizing.
