Refigerated Deliveries

  • Refrigerated shipping is available in the Sydney metro area.
  • Refrigerated shipping outside of Sydney is not available except for Butter Portions which can be shipped in the cooler months only
  • Sydney metro deliveries take place Monday to Friday (Usually in the morning)
  • Free refrigerated delivery is available subject to minimums based on your Postcode
  • You can see the order minimums and delivery fees based on your postcode here. 
  • We will do our best to meet your delivery date/time however this is not always possible, we will contact you to discuss if required

Please note that in order to keep shipping costs at a minimum, when we ship your goods using a courier or Australia Post by default it WILL NOT BE INSURED against loss or damage. We will take great care to package your goods for transport however we can accept no responsibility once the goods have been shipped with a courier or Australia Post. If you are concerned for the welfare of your goods you should contact us prior to dispatch and discuss insurance options or make appropriate arrangements with your own carrier. 

Authority To Leave

When making an order which is to be be shipped by Post or Courier, you will be giving us permission to advise the carrier that they have "Authority To Leave". If you live in a secure apartment block or have any concern for the welfare of your delivery then we can make other arrangements specifically suitable to your circumstances. You should contact us before you place your order to discuss.

Delivery time frame 

Most deliveries will usually occur within 3 - 7 business days from order. The exceptions to this would be those deliveries outsourced to other carriers such as a courier or Australia Post or if we have run out of stock for some reason. Please note that deliveries during peak times such as the lead up to Christmas will see delays from all couriers and also Australia Post. Allow extra time for your delivery to arrive with these carriers and please note that we can not guarantee any specific delivery date or time as it is completely out of our control. 

Permission to Return and to Receive Credit
Frozen food cannot be be returned under regulations imposed by the Food Authority (subject to exclusion if product is damaged or if a picking error has occurred). We will accept return of other merchandise ONLY IF IN SALEABLE CONDITION and notification is within 7 days of receipt .We will Issue a Credit to your account or Credit Card in Australian dollars. For unwanted merchandise the cost of return shipping shall be the responsibility of the customer.

Damaged or Incorrect Merchandise

We will upon your request, replace any merchandise that is received in damaged condition or as a result of a picking error. No material will be accepted or replacements issued without prior approval to return such merchandise. 

* Standard and Express Shipping Cost Changes 

Prices quoted for Standard and Express shipping are subject to change and are not guaranteed until booked. We use an external service to calculate live shipping rates and these are subject to conformation by the actual carriers and are therefore not guaranteed until booked. If there is any change, you will be notified prior to dispatch. You have the right to decline any increase in shipping cost, in that case we will cancel the order and void/refund any payments.


Orders and Acknowledgements 


As described in our Terms & Conditions, Padstow Food Service reserves the right to refuse any orders which may be submitted to it and will not be bound to fill any orders unless or until they have been accepted by us.
