Refrigerated Deliveries

  • Available within Sydney metro, Mon–Fri (usually mornings) - Note: Some suburbs are excluded.
  • Outside Sydney: Refrigerated delivery not available outside of Sydney.

  • Delivery Times: We'll aim to meet your preferred time but may contact you if adjustments are needed.

Outside Sydney Metro Delivery Guide

Standard Shipping:

  • Courier or Australia Post Standard Parcel.
  • 3–5 business days for most metro areas.
  • Up to 10+ business days for non-metro areas (including WA).

Express Shipping:

  • Express Courier or Australia Post Express Parcel.
  • 1–3 business days for most metro areas.
  • 4–8 business days for non-metro areas (including WA).

Shipping Costs:

  • Prices are subject to change until booking is confirmed.
  • Live rates depend on carrier confirmation.
  • Any changes will be communicated before dispatch.
  • You may decline cost increases, and we will cancel/refund your order if needed. 

Authority to Leave

  • By placing an order shipped via Post or Courier, you grant "Authority to Leave" at the delivery address.
  • If you live in a secure apartment or have concerns about delivery security, please contact us before ordering to arrange suitable alternatives.

Peak Times

  • Expect delays during peak periods like Christmas.
  • Couriers and Australia Post may take longer, and we cannot guarantee delivery dates or times.

No Guarantees

  • Shipping times are beyond our control once orders leave our warehouse.
  • For urgent deliveries, you may arrange your own courier or postal pickup—please notify us in advance.

 Insurance 

  • Shipments via courier or Australia Post are not insured by default to keep costs low.
  • While we carefully package all goods, we are not responsible for loss or damage during transit.
  • If you're concerned about your shipment, please contact us before dispatch to discuss insurance options or arrange your own carrier.

Returns & Credits

  • Frozen Food: Cannot be returned per Food Authority regulations unless damaged or due to a picking error.
  • Other Merchandise:
    • Must be in saleable condition.
    • Notify us within 7 days of receipt for return.
    • Credit issued in AUD to your account or credit card.
    • Return shipping for unwanted items is at the customer's expense.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • We will replace items damaged during delivery or due to picking errors upon request.
  • Prior approval is required before returning any items for replacement. 

Orders and Acknowledgements 

As described in our Terms & Conditions, Padstow Food Service reserves the right to refuse any orders which may be submitted to it and will not be bound to fill any orders unless or until they have been accepted by us.
