Description

Bakels All-In Muffin Mix is a complete pre-mix - just add water to make delicious vanilla muffins with a fine, even crumb perfect for adding blueberries, chocolate, banana, or anything you dream up.

What you will need:

  • 1kg All-In Muffin Mix

  • 450ml (approx. 1 ¾ cups) Cold Water

  • Your favourite add-ins (e.g., 2-3 cups blueberries, chocolate chips, nuts, etc. - optional)

  • Muffin tin(s)

  • Paper muffin liners (optional, but recommended for easy cleanup)

Simple Steps:

  1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced). Line your muffin tin(s) with paper liners or lightly grease.

  2. Combine: Empty the 1kg All-In Muffin Mix into a large mixing bowl. Add the 450ml of cold water.

  3. Mix Gently: Stir with a spoon or whisk until the mix and water are just combined. Do not overmix! A few lumps are perfectly fine – overmixing makes tough muffins.

  4. Add Your Goodies (Optional): If using, gently fold in your chosen add-ins (like blueberries or chocolate chips) until just distributed.

  5. Fill: Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds (⅔) full.

  6. Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and a skewer inserted into the centre of a muffin comes out clean.

  7. Cool: Let the muffins cool in the tin for 5 minutes before carefully transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

  • Water Quantity: The 450ml is an estimate depending on your desired consistency. You may need to test first to confirm the ideal water amount for 1kg of your mix to achieve the desired consistency and result. It might range from 400ml to 500ml.
